Use this taping foot to sew on ribbons, bands and braiding. Also used to sew cotton tape into garments to stop fabric stretch.
Set machine for 2-needle coverhem wide. Or 3 thread overlock when stitching edge tape to stop fabric stretch.
Insert 3/8 inch wide ribbon or tape into slot on taping Foot adjust guide as needed and attach foot to machine.
Mark placement lines on fabric with wash-away or fade-away marker.
Position fabric and ribbon or tape under foot and lower needles into fabric. Lower presser foot.
Sew first stitches by hand using handwheel. Continue sewing, using lines as a guide.
