It boasts an easy-to-view illuminated graphic colour touch screen and wonderful stitches...a whopping 428 stitches in total. Enjoy quilting at a new level with 47 unique quilt stitches with beautiful hand-stitched characters. Use the knee lifter to raise or lower the presser foot instantly, leaving both hands free to manipulate large fabric pieces. It can handle quilts up to king size in its stride thanks to the long 250 mm sewing bed which it's well lit bright LED's.

The colour touch screen displays the exact stitch selected and each one will sew beautifully thanks to the automatic self-adjusting thread tension. A first for the Quilt Expression it boasts a new range of decorative programs for the first time, which includes ribbon, floating, and stacking stitches. All three stitch types look very unique and wonderful when sewn out.

The QE720 even snips the thread ends automatically after sewing a line or at the touch of a button, saving the need to reach for scissors at the end of every seam. Another function to save time whilst quilt making is the automatic presser foot lifter. This can be set to lift the foot automatically at the end of every seam.

The 720 Quilt Expression offers a 99 character string or stitch memory function; in fact, it has two types of memory. One is to save stitches, numbers, or alphabet lettering in sequences, the other is a personal memory to save and recall stitches that the user has customised. For example, if you were quilt making and needed to sew 16 x 2" blocks, it is possible to sew the first one, then tell the machine to repeat it over and over again. It will even tie-off at the seam end then cut the top and bottom threads. It's a never-ending list of features this innovative new model has.

IDT is still the original and best option when working with more than one layer of material. It has never been replaced by anything that can work as well. For 40 years Pfaff's IDT (Integrated Dual Transportation) has helped produce some of the world's best quilts. It feeds the fabric from the top and bottom simultaneously. This way no fabric will ever be able to slip away.
